Tbh I have also done that, but letting dps stay dead is a huge dps loss compared to you losing 3 GCD's raising him up, yeah it sucks, but if you actually wanna do the best raid dps then that's is the best thing to do.

If Swiftcast is ready, I raise really quickly.
If not people may have to wait depending on the boss and its mechanics and how many times they already died.

Some bosses are more lenient and hard casting Raise works, but on bosses like Titan I usually don't bother to try because chances are high I have to cancel it after 6sec of casting and not contributing anything.
And if someone already died multiple times, they're even lower on my priority list.
May do them some good to watch the fight from the floor until Swiftcast is ready.
With 2 healers, you can instant raise 2 people per minute. If that doesn't cut it, maybe people should start watching their feet.
This is less about "muh deeps" and more about "Geez... Again?! Get in line, I don't shit Swiftcasts".
