Housing glitch fixed? I hope not...

Update: After reading a few of these comments I went back and tried to do it again today. Still doesn't seem to be working for me. I'll take a video and upload it by the end of the week to better show what's going on. Basically what I'm trying to do "this time" is place a window on a partition. Sure, you can use the wall glitch but the one I was hoping for is the one where you pull it out of your storage and right click/press square to place on a wall after positioning it. Instead, the moment I click on it to move it it just places the window half way in the ground where I can then move it around from the items already in the house. If I instead right click from the menu it gives me the option to "place" but doing that does the same thing as mentioned before. Puts the window half way into the ground just floating there.

Nothing is "wrong" with it. It still works, I'd rather move the windows around and place them where I can see them on the partition instead of guessing and trying over and over. However, this isn't the main point. The same glitch is how you put things on the stairs or the railings or closer to the walls then normal. So, even if it wasn't a matter of windows on partitions it is still needed for other things.
