Update: After reading a few of these comments I went back and tried to do it again today. Still doesn't seem to be working for me. Sure, you can use the wall glitch but the one I was hoping for is the one where you pull it out of your storage and right click/press square to place on a wall after positioning it. Instead, the moment I click on it to move it it just places the window half way in the ground where I can then move it around from the items already in the house. If I instead right click from the menu it gives me the option to "place" but doing that does the same thing as mentioned before. Puts the window half way into the ground just floating there.
What's wrong with using the wall glitch? It was way more reliable then the place method.
