OP already said they had no solution for him, SE is notorious for "We can't help you with that, please refer to such and such..." Also SE would never have been able to give him the solution he received from his fellow player because they lack any intimate knowledge of the C&B system and they would have never suggested that he 'fib' his address to move forward.
