What things annoy you?

I did leveling today and was blessed with Ifrit normal. After the short fight, the healer plugged their twitch, twitter, instragram, and tumblr urls in a macro before leaving. I never knew this was a thing until today and I hate it.

Might be they were letting you know that you're recorded and online now XD.... Though all media links is a bit much lol. Might do them well to just plug the best one to reach them / has to do with the people in the group, less of a crisis of options then - give me 10 links and I might just turn my apathy up to 11 lol. . give me one link and I might copy it over to my other monitor.

I've had a few streamers in groups, that I knew about because they said it, and they told us in the beginning which was nice / preferable imo.

I also forgot one other thing that annoys me... people asking for comms at the end of the fight or dungeon... that's the fastest way for me not to comm them.

As someone that likes the various beasts and legends around the world its really annoying to have them ingame but not fitting their names at all. I am fine if someone takes a known beast, for example a unicorn and instead of making it white with a straight horn they could have given it another color and different horns. Or change the myths a bit. Make it be possessed (thus more demonic in look) and instead of being calm around young women, they like to eat them. But still recognizable. If you just take a known name and slap it onto something completely different then it just screams creative laziness.

(Using the name Abaddon for something like a frog..)

It would be like using the iconic Chocobo as a name for a yellow lizard in a FF game.

Either try to keep it for something that at least feels like it could fit with the original myth or go ahead and create your own new monsters that are unique to the game itself. (Like Rowling did with Harry Potter, take certain myths and their beasts but also created her own beasts too)

Adding to how the game "feels"... there are few things as immersion breaking as having a mob's level displayed above it's head. Levels are to vaguely quantify a creature's meta power level, not to be an actual existing value within that world. By looking at it, how would your character know if it's level 70, or 71, or 69? Give it colours to vaguely represent the strength of something in relation to you, something your character could actually assume when looking at it.

edit: If the party had been chatty, I think it would have been okay. But no one even said hello and the fight was short. It just seemed really out of place and weird, in my opinion.

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's speedrunners. Especially on a first time run. It throws me off entirely and I can't keep up properly. If they don't slow it down a bit when I ask, I don't mind eating the 30-minute penalty just to get away from them.

Let's add to this, people in DD or HoH who pay no attn to poms and pop them willy nilly even if they are already active

and this one is super annoying make 3 ppl wait at the teleporter because they insist on clearing every single room because they need chests. Just run the content, you will max out super fast even without 100% completion of every floor. Plus you are not running the chance of getting vote kicked and loosing out on what points you earned already. If it's 3 vs 1, you are the jerk for holding up the pt.
