I played through the story with my alt using Trusts (i.e. I did each dungeon exactly once with them, after I was already familiar with the dungeons).
I absolutely hate them and I plan to never use them again. To me they embody everything about bad play and they are sooooooo slow. They perform so much worse consistently than any person you would get through duty finder that I just don't want to deal with them.

I did each of the dungeons for MSQ with them, and I used them to level my DRK and RDM. Problem is now they're all at like 78~79 and I don't want to do those dungeons on a level 80 because it feels like I'm wasting EXP, but due to their unique roles I'll have to level another tank and DPS to avoid overlap, but I suppose lost exp is to be expected.
I don't know why I'd do them anymore once they're at 80 though, I mostly just do it to get gear while leveling other jobs through ShB.

I will use them as something kind of different to do after I have used all my roulettes for that day, if I have the time. Running with the Trust system is very time consuming, so you have to really want to do it and have the time for it. I also want to level GNB and I never have played a tank and will not with a real group, because people can be very unforgiving. So my GNB levelling will be exclusively Trust and Squadron missions.
You will also Unlock Alternate Outfits for them if you get them to level 80 being their Pre-Stormblood outfits. We can probably expect new outfits for them in the future per Expansion as always.I have never used trusts for any of my leveling purposes. I had intended to use them for alts but then after reading about how they never aoe and the runs taking longer I decided to just do it in DF.
My biggest problem is that someone over there decided to make an achievement for leveling them all to 80 with a title included so I'll have to them at some point.

Do I find myself using trusts? No.

Didn't used it even once so far. I don't like the idea that the Npcs can't rez you and that it should take longer than with a normal group. Maybe if they make it more rewarding and speed it up a bit im gonna try it out.
It's the same as with the squadron. Its a really nice idea to provide variety, but the way how they did it is pretty bad. I also would like to spend more time with my squadron but it seems they abandoned this feature and spending time with it doesn't feel rewarding in any way. Its more difficult and takes longer doing the Dungeons with a Squadron but its not worth doing it in terms of Xp nor you can get anything nice or usefull from the dungeons. (At Least i didn't found anything)
They really should do something to motivate ppl using all features of their game and make them feel fun and rewarding.

Now that I’m done maxing my shared fate ranks, I’ve been using Trusts more. For DPS it’s nice to get an instant que instead of waiting 9 to 18 minutes and for tank/healer it’s nice for those days you want exp but also want to chill a bit. I listen to podcasts and just follow Urianger for mechanics.
From what I’ve noticed so far my Trust runs are about as long as DF runs. With some days DF runs taking longer. Sure, Trusts don’t AoE, but so far I’ve gotten too many DF groups where the other DPS isn’t AoEing either.
Outside of daily roulettes, I use trusts pretty much all the time as a DPS. Time spent is about the same as queueing up for a dungeon normally. And more often than not, similar damage going out. Doing it the normal way takes about 20 minutes on average plus the wait time, which as a DPS is roughly 7-15 minutes. And trust dungeons take about 25-30 minutes to finish for me.
But as a tank or healer though, normal queueing all the way. Since little to no queue time.

I can't even finish the first dungeon with them due to either myself dying or the healer dying when I'm on BLM.
I may give it another try when I level melee classes/tanks as they are a bit more sturdier than the clothies.
