Two months into Shadowbringers, do you find yourself still using Trusts?

I for one do, they've been a great, great help on my journey to getting every job to 80, they've been great for jobs I don't normally feel comfortable playing in normal parties(... like healers lol). Its been nice being able to afk without annoying anyone if I need to, they are slower than a normal group since they don't aoe so there is a bit of a trade off there. Its also nice having Urianger in his Source outfit and not a dress lol. I didn't like using them at first because their exp gain was so slow but when they recently increased their exp gain it mage a huge difference for me.

How about you? Whats your experience been with trusts? Not working out for you? Do you wish SE would make more Trusts? Or open more content to Trusts?

I used the Trust system for about every dungeon in ShB and I love it but I do wish SE would add aoe abilities to the AI so that it would speed things up a little bit. I also would like the ability to swap out members on the fly so I can pseudo kick Ryne from my party in an mean big sis type of way.

I got all Trusts to Lv80, after that i stop usinf trust because Dungeons are too slow, they don't AoE, you get Chest penalty and more. When i'm leveling DPS jobs i keep doing Fates/Triple Triad while waiting ( ~10 min queue ), there's only 5 cards to drop on NPCs right now by the way :P

Congrats on your card farming! I've had absolutely abysmal luck on drops from TT NPCs.

I use trusts all the time. They have let me learn fights to the point I'm not only comfortable but competent tanking the dungeons for groups. They are excellent for learning rotations for me far better than banging on a dummy.

I would really like to see the same instituted for Stormblood dungeons!

I just wish they used at least a basic AoE, by which I mean AoE without going into a combo skill, just something so it feels less painful and less of a waste of time. I get the idea of why the devs didn't want it to be quick with Trusts as it would erase the point of going in with real players, but when the difference in completion is so large that it's gone past the point of "I guess the queue wait time makes it worth doing"...then I honestly fail to see the point, it exists after the story purpose simply "just because" in my view.

I don't see the point. They are so absurdly slow and there isn't as much RP talk as I'd hoped.

i was planning on using my trusts to level my magic dps job, but my priorities are bad. I haven't even unlocked Eden Normal, and then I started working on my whm anima weapon (Hyperconductive Stage aaawwww yeeaaaah), then I started leveling mch from scratch and then I picked back up botany.

But the few times I have done it with Dark Knight it did help me realize that the Blackest Night did NOT give blood like I thought it did, which meant I could better so yay learning.

I use trusts more than I run with actual people now snd I hope they go back and add them to ALL 4man dungeons from 2.X to 5.X.
Its just more calm, relaxed and I get all the loot which really helps with seals for ventures, gearing up and if nothing else, sell for gil! Plus I can actually stop and READ all the little lore spots if the dungeon has them and not feel Im putting out my party. Also, exploration! I can look around and see the ins and outs of the dungeon instead of rushing thru the whole thing with giant pulls!
Im fine with the fact that Trusts only single target if it means I can have a chill run and just explore and level at my own pace.

But i don't have any lucky for those 5 cards, i've been trying for days ( Hien, Alpha, Omega, Nael and Yotsuyu ) D:
