Red Moons! Glitch Or Something More...?

So last night I was doing something, and considering the sky was clear I had that "hmm, I wonder" thought. Oh? Interesting.

If you mean the fact that Dalamud isn't there, it's normal. It has left it's usual orbit and you can sometimes see it in the sky alone, for example:

the second picture just has the moon covered by clouds.

No, not really.



You can see the stars showing through the clouds around Dalamud, so you'd see the moon too. But it isn't there.
I'll try to make a more convincing shot when I see it next time though.

Here you go! I actually took a few of the moon from different angles I'm using as my PC wallpaper right now. The original picture's from my lodestone blog I made about it so that's why the original is smaller. The ones added below are 1920x1080. Just right click it and choose "View Image" depending on your browser to see the original.

I uploaded it to a different site, they should be the correct size now.

That's cool and all, but you've used scroll lock to hide the UI, which is the part I actually want to see, since it contains the calendar. I'm looking for anything on it that might be significant or carry a pattern.

If it helps the picture was taken on 1/11/2012 @11:01PM Pacific Time. (GMT -8) So if you can figure out what the calendar was at that time listed then you'll know.
