Red Moons! Glitch Or Something More...?

As I was doing leves out in Thanalan I saw something odd. Looking at the night sky it surprised me to see that both moons had turned red in the night sky! Unfortunately according to somebody else I talked to it appears to be a glitch, and only I saw it. Still, wouldn't it be cool to think maybe it was some kind of event of sorts that only appeared to certain players? Unlikely but it would be cool nonetheless. Can somebody perhaps confirm if it indeed is a glitch that happens client side? *hopes for a official response*

if it's a event or maybe some random occurrence happening due to calendar of the game though , that's cool.

It all has to do with the coming umbral era. Lots of the GC quests will point to it and give a hint as to what it is. spoilered

That's already known by most. But it points to Dalamud, not the moon. Dalamud is the tinier planet near the moon. But in the picture here itself the moon has gone red. Also maybe it's me, but Dalamud looks a lot farther away from the moon than it originally was.
