Those questions are nice but what I really want to know is if 1.21 is proceeding as scheduled? Not looking forward to another delay

The roadmap says 1.21 is due for release Dec. 2011 - Jan 2012, so I'm wondering if they can make it still within that timeframe or if it's going to be February or later.

you are looking at the wrong roadmap.

That yellow bar between Dec 2011 and Jan 2012 is the time the devs are working on that patch so where that arrow ends is the target date the devs want for each patch thus 1.21 being early Feb 2012.
