Requesting Information on Jobs: Preparing for 1.21

Hey guys! I made sure to let the dev. team know the types of questions that you have been asking about with the upcoming job system. Just a heads up that we'll be posting frequent information and topics on Lodestone in the coming weeks leading up to patch 1.21! Once that is all released, we'll see what questions remain and we'll work to get further specific details then. Don't wanna spoil it all just yet!

The initial set of job specific gear will be obtained after completing the last job quest. The quests are supposedly challenging as well so we shall see.

i hope that means that once you obtain the advance job they give you a quest for your first set of gear but after that there is other gear you can obtain that is meldable or that you can HQ

Same here, but we probably won't know that until the week before.

The roadmap says 1.21 is due for release Dec. 2011 - Jan 2012, so I'm wondering if they can make it still within that timeframe or if it's going to be February or later.

They should be, imho, since it's a personal quest for you to get a job... not some NM/dungeon
