I always support more events. Every three months isn't too often, but I do think it would fall on the community to make that happen. It's something that's been tried before, but requires dedicated players who are just passionate enough to do it without getting any other reward.

I think one mistake is that we believe we need the best of the best players to participate for it to be entertaining, and I think just whoever is passionate enough to join in are fun to watch.

That being said, having these community events show SE that we want them. And the value for doing them go up, so we have to start with self-promotion and then suggest this to them.

Likely they would be up for doing it every 6 months to line up with patches in some way, I don't know about every 3 months since that'll be too often and happen during major PvE focused times. Of course all this being said is me just making guesses and assumptions and I am in no way speaking from anything outside of my own opinion.
