You guys seriously need to stop waste time on this topic. It will never happens. WoW is barely working only because there was a language barrier and two factions will never be able to PvE together. This is strongly evident in feast chat ban where a portion of players are being toxic and aggressive and SE have to take away the communication. World PvP when both sides can communicate and possible end up in same PvE content? Not going to happen, SE is not going to lift the stone and smash their own toes

You can chat in frontlines by using shout.... and I've seen plenty of people from there in the pve. Your concerns have little to no merit.

Even until today, you still can see people bad mouth in discord in regard to frontline or feast. This is not a game about two factions in conflict where they can divide player base into two campaigns and do not let them speak to each other. If they can speak to each other, there will always be drama over World PvP. It is is not going to happen.

If you don't like it, don't join. People get mad at each other even in pve content. Most of they 'no wolrd pvp' points don't make any since. If we want to have this as a thing, let us have it. You don't have to join... also there is ToS agreement for but hurt harrassment. So just stop being the 'you cant have it cuz I don't want it' guy.

As long as it's a zone that people that don't like pvp never have to ever touch, then I'm all for it. The minute I have to stop trusting that guy won't kill me because they find it fun, I'm out.

I haven't really gotten involved in the PvP here, despite it being my favourite part of other MMOs I've played in the past. I hate the feeling of letting a team down, even if the team don't openly say anything, just knowing it was largely my fault makes me feel guilty. It's for this reason I tend to avoid PvP in which I'm tied to a party. However, I'd be more than happy to take part if there was an open PvP zone in which I could contribute towards a faction's cause without my failures significantly hindering my allies.

If everything that could potentially lead to toxic behaviour was stopped, there wouldn't be much left of an MMO at all...

Where there is many players, there will always be some drama. Unfortunately, it's unavoidable. Both PvP and PvE can cause toxicity, it isn't as though it's a problem experienced only by one.

I would love a nadaam style open world pvp map. A whole map by itself, not at all necessary to go into. Just one big open world map with a dozen safe pad towers you can jump off of (but can't jump back onto) that allow you to reach for the middle every couple hours to "claim the objective". Winner takes all deal and idk, maybe winner gets to play with fixed furnishings in the map or something fun, maybe they get a buff that increases their wolfmark gain for 24 hours by 15%. I'd love a map with monsters and players able to kill one another, either faction based or be in the same party, or kill or be killed... just, let me free-for-all roam and murder.

If want open world pvp go to online game that's focused on it. Final Fantasy online game is never been about pvp. Just be prepare for lots of cheaters and toxic players. There focus is on pve content here.

A Nadaam themed event or FATE would dit great with what we are asking for. To the player below you. The same was said about the trust system and the New Game Plus system... and probably more systems. That argument isn't valid one bit. Players are asking for what they want, we deserve at the very least a yes or no answer. Also there was the test of such a system mentioned in the live letter. They should fo further into it. Mayhaps they plan to, but are shy as to how they wish to implement it.
