Open world PvP Zone

Funny thing. In a previous mmo I played I did a fair amount of pvp. The players all acted like AI. They would use the same moves in the same order every time. A stun would ALWAYS be the first move, without fail for example. I would counter that and beat them. It was the pvp that bored me, not the pve.

Lol are you talking about SW:ToR? Loved when people would white bar you in the first 3 seconds of a match. Doubt it since you mentioned the PvE did not bore you, but figured I would ask since PvP more or less did work like that in tor open with a stun and most player would white bar which granted immunity to most forms of CC, slows and roots still worked.

Salt aside, I still wouldn't be opposed to a concept like this, to appeal to both sides of the playerbase, as long as it doesn't detract from the quality of either.

I can see why people enjoy PvP, but I really do, but posts like this are definitely not helping the case to incentivize PvP to primarily PvE players.

^ that's the issue us pvpers have. We don't want to "incentivize" you "PvE players" I could care less about "PvE players". Fact is, theres "PvP players" out there who want "PvP content" in a "MMORPG"

(Large number of people participating simultaneously) you know...human and human interaction.....not human and robot interaction.... i'd much rather interact and play against players than robots. Maybe that's why half the ffxiv population left 4 months after stormblood. PvE content gets boring after awhile.

I wish SE would respond to this as this topic has reached quite a few pages now. I for one would still like to have an open world PvP zone. Hell, a zone like Eureka Anemos (aesthetically) was exactly what I imagined! Some people who initially was against this have come around as well.

I don't get why we can't get any sort of response. If this had been about anything else. Surely we would have one by now. This is what pvp players and others outside of pvp have finally come together on. Please respond, please give us our land of pvp.
