What job can you just not click with?

I noticed no one said anything about White Mage. Either they don't play it or they find it not so annoying TO play.

As someone who absolutely LOVES White Mage, I prefer the latter.

But I agree with others, Scholar IS a pain to play. I only started to bother after the changes since it got easier to attempt it.

I've started out as a WHM back in ARR and stuck with it ever since. I found it fun during HW but rather disappointing during SB because it just didn't seem to work. It felt incoherent and incomplete with the completely messed up job gauge and 60-70 added almost nothing of value compared to 50-60, where you got all the cool stuff: Bene, Asylum, Assize, Tetra. The change to Benison made it only marginally better.

But with the Lily overhaul, the skills they added from 70-80, some QoL changes and some nice changes to existing skills, it feels so much more fluid and coherent. Not to mention Afflatus Misery is fun.
Nothing like HolyAfflatusMiseryAssize first thing in a big pull and seeing 8 of 11 mobs turn from green to orange because you just whacked them HARD.
