If anyone know hows to break cap if it is even possible please post it in this thread please ^^

Its locked. Something that has been deliberately done by SE.
Tampering with the software is a no no.
Ive varying stories on the reasoning. Ive even heard that this is because the PS3 community would have some sort of disadvantage, somehow having less FPS would put them at the short end. I dunno, it all sounds silly.
It makes no sense...PC community has access to all sorts of mods and cheats the PS3 community wont have, so it makes that argument a mute point. We already have a major leg up on them.
Just another one of SE's plethora of silent decisions w/out any real explanation. Honestly the overheating GPU's seems like the most logical...but that should be a user decision to implement.
If I remember right back in the day before I quit FFXI it was capped at around 30 frames.
I'd only be concerned about capped frames or refresh rate if you can actually see a some type of distortion or lag (IE. motion blurr). Some people eyes are actually sensitive enough to tell the difference, but for most people its just a redundant information your eyes never see.
I would say even for a HDTV 240 hz isn't needed, but this is just my personal opinion. I have HDTV that allows you to adjust the refresh rate to 60 or 120. I've rarely seen motion blur on 60hz so I think 240 is just a gimmick (outside of 3D viewing). However, I do like the idea of my equipment running at level that it forms a buffer so I never see any distortion at all.![]()
Read this for what I'm talking about

Personally, my goal would be to have a computer that does the graphic settings you want, but the frame rate stays stuck at 60 and nvr moves, then you are golden.

Here's another reason why frames maybe capped. I think this is more likely the reason then overheating or to make it fair.
FPS affect the experience in two ways: low FPS does not give the illusion of motion effectively and affects the user's capacity to interact with the game, while FPS that vary substantially from one second to the next depending on computational load produce uneven, “choppy” animation. Many games lock their frame rate at lower but more sustainable levels to give consistently smooth motion.

This is my Computer
CPU: AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition @ 3.2 GHz @ 4 cores
Ram: 4 Gigs DDR3 @ 1333MHz
HDD: 1TB @ 7200rpm
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6770 @ 1Gig DDR5
2 monitors
I run the game Windowed on max settings flawlessly
I am not a techie at all so I play on an iMac. Works well so far![]()
Now I think I should go back to Intel + nVidia combo like when I first started with PCs.. lol everyone uses these anyways and they seem to work better than AMD + ATI :/

"Oh the good old sig from v1.0..."
To be honest AMD has been making real good cards lately for the most part and their driver support has been improved greatly. As far as cpu's go I guess we'll see AMD's offering when they release the Bulldozer.
I'd say AMD has the better driver support honestly. They get fix's out a lot faster than Nvidea. I personally am not a fanboy, Ill go with whoever has the best at the time. This round of purchases I chose Nvidea because I wanted to have a pair of 3d glasses and they make the best.
But Ive heard plenty of fanboys on either side. Whatever, Startrek and Starwars are both good.SW>ST, but thats just common sense ^_^
Thomson TO8.... with an external 3.5 floppy drive, a must back then! shit I grew a few more grey hair writing this. :/
Playing on a computer built in 2006, E6400 with 4GB of DDr2 and a HD5750. game runs fine, good enough for me. First time I keep a computer this long. Core2duo cpu = total win I guess.
