So we (PLDs) have a dead ability in Shield Bash still. What if, instead of a weak attack that does a stun, it instead made us auto-block the next incoming attack? It would even still be on the GCD (so we aren't really gaining another defensive ability to use normally), so it's just an "oh shit, I don't have Oath built yet" button. Kind of like Clemency?
