Post-Honeymoon SHB thoughts?

Yeah Zenos totaly isn't a trained Garlemald General, son of the emperor of an empire created and lead by immortal being, using every scientific advancement and that are not afraid of exeprimenting the sh*t out of everybody to gain military might, he totaly didn't lead the Gyr abania invasion force, reign upon them and repress every single rebellion in bloodshed. He totaly isn't a fullblown psychopath willing to detroy every single thing in its path to confront us. He's not an ascien, he's not immortal and still he look right into the eyes of an ascien and tell to give him back is body or he'll take it himself, the immortal being probably as powerfull as Hades comply to its demand without an argument.

I don't even like Zenos, I find him overhyped and all, but it don't change fact he's an unstopable beast of military might and power.

And whatever if Ran'jit was stronger or anything. Its about what he can bring to the story and Ran'jit have told everything he had to, he would serve no purpose in the storytelling.

LahabreaD is dead,the other ascians are sundered pieces of soul which are weaker than they used to,which leaves only Elidibus who mind you boasted he could defeat us ONLY after taking Zenos body.
I dont think Elidibus is strong,to me he is like the Ascian version of Minfilia. Just the speaker scheming behind the battlefield. Is he strong? probably. he isnt sundered after all. but like Hades? not by a long shot.
Hades didnt need anyones powerful body to fight us at his full power.

ShB really got me to begin to level jobs I've never touched before. It sort of reignited my enjoyment of the game.

As for the MSQ...I felt it suffered from KH3 syndrome where basically all the real plot happened in the last few hours, but I will say this story had way more touching and intimate moments that made me cry.

As for post-game, there is still soo much old content and SQ I never did, so I am just leveling, running content and clearing things I haven't touched, so I am happy Plus, I love being Hrothgar!

yeah, thinking about it, it was kinda implies he was a realy powerfull mage and quite the importent guy.

Don't change my point, Elidibus complied to a mortal without putting any kind of argument. It may be because it serve his plan, but I really think it was intended to show the dominance of Zenos over any opposition force, be it ascian or his own father. Even if he's weak, I'm pretty sure Elidibus would make Ran'jit his puppet in a handfull of minute and won't take any of his menacing stare seriously.

Shadowbringers is hands down the best expansion thus far. SB set expectations high but it simply didn't deliver. Shadowbringers had modest presentation and the execution was perfect. Obviously they can't please everyone, but strictly speaking, this is the best expansion so far in terms of visuals, music, QoL, voice acting, cutscenes, story, fight design.

Lali-ho/10, would recommend to all my friends.

Oh come on, it was not bad. Yeah the lali-ho quest series was annoying, but it's a very small part of the expansion, the rest was awesome !

Eldibus might be weaker in a direct fight but he is a planner, and also desperate right now, I’m sure he’s got some challenges planned for us.

The story was incredible, as was the zone design and music.

That wasn't a statement of negativity. Though for a more clear praise, LaHEE/10, would sing Greatwood's theme again.

I actually invited a friend over to show him XIV and he can see why it excites me so. Soken's music is magic I swear.

It's ok. Too many cut corners for what is Heavensward: Purple Flavor but the story and music is good. My "Honeymoon" phase ended with Emet and honestly can only wish this game was made into a Single Player game instead.

Great Serpent of Ronka / 10. Would SCREE again.

Having a bit of a lull until the relic weapon grind and alliance raid releases, but it still beats every alternative MMO for me currently, so guess I'm sticking around as always.

Also, I want my Job quests back. Preferably with a bit more meat on them, and all in one bite not one per x levels. While the role quests weren't bad, I wouldn't say they were any better or much different from job quests.
