Thank you again for the dps tips.
I am now training my mind to not use feathers when it proc outside TF.
May I ask how do you choose dancing partner?
Is there any preferred job or ..?

Generally, you want to pick whomever is the highest DPS in the group you’re in. Understandably, if you are doing pick-up groups, this can be difficult until you see them in action. Ideally, DNC would benefit the most in terms of rDPS contribution from picking a BLM or a MNK, as they are currently the highest damage dealers right now. However, without a static environment for you to be able to gauge who is consistently the most optimal target, it will take trial and error (and a third-party tool) to determine who would be the best to partner.
If you are currently pugging, the best I can recommend is to either watch what the fellow DPS are doing throughout pulls (should you have... “crystal ball” access), and adjust if need be on the next pull by changing your partner if you see the one you picked isn’t as high as they should be; or you can look up players on a certain website to see how their general performance is (should they have anything on the site), and try to pick a partner that way. Unfortunately, that’s the best advice I can give on the matter with regards to pugging.

Have you ever played a gacha game and failed to get the one Character you want?
Dancer feels the same, sometimes you just cant get a proc!
Now think back to the Gacha games, most of them have a pity system so after enough fails it just hands you one character over.
So why not add a pity system to our skills? Means with every time a skill fails to grant a proc the % chance increases. once a certain skill procced it resets back to 50%
You could also check the threat list during the fight (as now there are no DPS abilities that manipulate hate), and avoid any DPS that dies a lot.If you are currently pugging, the best I can recommend is to either watch what the fellow DPS are doing throughout pulls (should you have... “crystal ball” access), and adjust if need be on the next pull by changing your partner if you see the one you picked isn’t as high as they should be; or you can look up players on a certain website to see how their general performance is (should they have anything on the site), and try to pick a partner that way. If your tries were uploaded to that website, you can use the compare feature to get an idea of where you could be going wrong. Delaying dances can make a huge difference, especially if it leads to buffs not being totally used due to the boss becoming untargetable.
