    They have already added the mount prevention zone which is like 90% of the work. All they would have to do is add an additional effect to the already existing zone.
    Why bother? Well, because it's a fun challenge?

    The debuffs already exists in the game. They would just need to add it to the code to apply it as you entered the area. I bet it could be done in less than 10 minutes.
