Just because they didn't say anything about healers in the LL, does not mean nothing is happening in 5.08 and 5.1. I kinda understand why they avoided these questions. Healers really are the saltiest bunch.

I believe the majority of us understand that. They never said we weren't getting changes ever, and I don't believe anyone here is saying that either - them saying that they're keeping AST in the position they're in after the .05 patch isn't going to resonate well with a lot of people, even when the changes were welcomed but are still seen as not enough, and I hope you can understand the initial reaction may be quite heated to that fact.

However, I don't believe you can say "Healers really are the saltiest bunch." when the devs openly ignore the majority of questions that were posted by healers and we get 'this is the way it's staying for now' in regards to AST while the rest of the questions were brushed under the rug as usual.

If they had something great planned for .08 and .1, they surely would've said something or at least brought it up by now, right?

Well their silence can be a sign of embaressement, the changes are horrible, the feedback from the west and in Japan confirm it. They are ashamed to even acknowledge they did wrong. Or it could be apathy. Healers are not the priority they don't care, not worth the effort to comment on let alone fix. If they make the class brain dead and easy to pick up there won't ever be a shortage.

People thought the same about whm changes in stormblood were they only reduced Aggro gain and that whas it until almost the end of the expansion. Yes some QoL changes but nothing big

People complain about AST but I just played it for the first time since ShB launched and I didn't see the big deal over the complaints. Seemed like AST to me.

It seems you're willfully ignoring that many people are citing that we, in fact, made use of all cards in their varying situations.

Try not to speak for everyone in that we were only "Fishing for balance" because it's definitely not true. Many of us are literally saying this.

I'm saying it now.

The lore revolved around the fate of the cards, many of us played the Job as such and made judgements at our own discretion.

As an Astrologian, our job is to interpret the will of the stars with each card that was drawn and act accordingly, not ignore them to "fish for balance".

99% astro players fished for aoe balance or aoe spear, you may not be in that 99%, I don't care but you have to deal with it
I never saw any my coohealer astro ever used aoe bole, aoe spire or aoe ewer ...
never felt needed to use that cards myself too ...

Dev team- Look you can’t have it all. You can’t be super healers with a high powered dps rotation and insane support. You will be to op.
Community- Hmm ok well just give us all of that and significantly increase the incoming damage so we won’t be able to dps much and still help our team out with our support. That’s a good trade off right?
Dev Team- So your answer is to just make you heal more? Nah you been all over the forums about dps so now you got it. We removed/ nerfed your support. Be happy with that for the next 2 years.

Dev Team- If we increase the damage scale significantly then we will have more upset players because they won’t be able to clear the content. We have to consider all the players. That’s why we simplified most jobs.

Did you personally monitor every single AST player and came to the conclusion that none of them ever royal roaded for potency or duration?
Who are you to say that 99% of the AST playerbase used only one or two cards?

Besides, wouldn't it have been simpler to just nerf Balance instead of making every single card a three times weaker balance?

It's because of people like you our role is dumbed down and we're told to be happy with it.
