I’m changing the criteria from Over a Range of 2 Weeks to Over a Range of 1 Week. It actively slices the parses in half. The period is from 2 weeks (or 1 week), not the lifetime of the tier (roughly 6 1/2 months). Going back into my old logs from Deltascape confirmed that WHMs had rankings possible out of over 23,000 from an O1S kill on Dec 12, 2017. That’s already more than the numbers quoted for overall WHM logs on All Bosses in your link (little over 16,000). Note that Sigmascape released on January 31, 2018, so my final kill of Alte Roite was a month and a half before Sigma dropped.
Comparatively, for a different view, my final BRD kill of O1S (same date) was against a little over 18,500 logs for just that boss compared to the ~15,800 for All Bosses in your link.
Also of note, comparing the last two weeks of old tiers to the first week + 1 day of a brand new one is going to yield you skewed numbers. More people are doing it when the content is fresh—less when the content is about to become irrelevant because they already farmed it to death by this point. Not to mention, the playerbase is also larger than it was back in Deltascape (and certainly during Alphascape, because I know quite a few raiders that just unsubbed and didn’t even participate in the tier), so we also have to account for that.
So you cannot say this with any accuracy. You’re compare the lowest point of Omega to the highest point of Eden. It’s a skewed comparison.
Given the data you provided, I don’t know how you can confirm nor deny this based off of that data alone. The data you presented isn’t accurate for the lifetime of a tier."Healer numbers declining" is misinformation at best and an outright lie at worst.
Regarding the last comment, since The Website That Shall Not Be Named now only filters by rDPS, padding isn’t going to be that prevalent, so the Personal Number Battery argument sort of falls apart. However, I do agree with disliking the card changes—not a fan myself, and I probably won’t play AST much if at all because of it. Two things drew me to the job: the animations and the card system. As pretty as the former is, the complete rework of the latter is too huge a turn off.
