Going to be lazy here but please bear with me. Anyone have links to the healers sections of the stream (and or transcripts)? I missed the LL and only got snapshots of it.

Q5:
Thanks for the adjustments made towards astrologians! Both the controllability and heal potency has increased and it feels much better. Do you have any plans to add new effects to the cards?
A5:
We are truly sorry about the initial issues with the feel of the job. That said, card effects were changed to their current iteration because we received feedback from all regions that players did not want "useless cards." It does indeed lower the feeling of "drawing a good card," but if we make certain cards significantly more powerful than others, then we'll just return to fishing for the good ones, so we decided to simplify it. We plan on continuing with this style for now. That is all the healer questions.Q66:
Please allow us to confirm the help text for fairy actions through the scholar actions that activate them.
A66:
This will be implemented.
Thank you!! I'll go through that to see where the dismissive parts are. I feel like it's more about the questions being weak than anything at this point. What wouldn't I give to have an opportunity to ask the team my own set of questions T_T
There was a giant forum where people could ask questions, and a huge chunk of them were about healers. They only specifically chose to answer those two.
Make SCH great again! Seriously though, we just want our class to be fun and engaging again, not OP, is that too much to ask for?
We can't be sure whether the devs chose the questions or someone else working for SE did... but someone on the SE team chose to ask only one question which painted what the devs had already done in a positive light, where many of the other questions were much more critical. The same person who decided it was more important to ask about sandwiches than actual game mechanics.
God, that irked the hell out of me when I saw it. DOZENS of people brought up healer and tank issues, and instead of addressing those they decide to talk about sandwiches, really? But the dps problems those got top priority, even BRD's, who wasnt was as bad as the other DPS in the thread, was told "continue to give us feedback and we'll do our best to make it the best experience possible" BUT ALL HEALERS GET IS A "these are the changes, deal with them. Also some minor tooltip updates"We can't be sure whether the devs chose the questions or someone else working for SE did... but someone on the SE team chose to ask only one question which painted what the devs had already done in a positive light, where many of the other questions were much more critical. Sandwiches are evidently more important than healers are at this point.
And the worst part is that there's pretty much nothing we can do about it. While it's true that SE needs healers (if there were no healers, there would be no queues, and sooner or later there would be far fewer players as people get fed up with waiting) but not enough healers visit these forums to arrange any sort of organised action. And even if we did we'd be punishing ourselves, too, since even though we want healers to be better (like SCH and AST were before) many of us still want to heal. Personally, I'm planning to push my love for healing down and try to learn to love other roles in the knowledge that this is the only even slightly meaningful way I can register my protest (short of unsubbing), but there's a feeling of hopelessness even in that.
For me it's easy to be blinded by frustration and so need to remind myself there are only humans at SE. Did the Community team not see the healer-gameplay related Questions, did they avoid the questions we felt needed answering most, were they given instructions to what to pick, did the questions get lost on the way to the stream, did those on the stream itself chose to ignore them as they came up. Did they see the questions, go to the person who do healer gameplay, ask them if there was a problem with healers, the person would shrug and say they're fine, and that was their answer.
It's also easy for me to think of mean reasons like above, but this will just continue to simmer until I think most people tire out and either just go back to their memory of the job or play something else. I wonder now if they are outright ignore it hoping everyone will just forget the vibrant cards, dozen arcanist tools and that healers will continue to Broil/Glare/Malefic until their button falls off.
A lot of these worries could put to rest by a Community manager or rep making a thread asking peoples opinion of the healer jobs in 5.0. They might not do anything at all with the feedback, but knowing one's voice is heard is what I think many here are missing. Reading the posts and impressions of WHMs who have been here a lot longer than me the chance of seeing a Dev post here is a rare occurence.
