no resources are wasted
its already made for everyone
they just gotta flip the switch and take the lock off
its not wow were certain races only be certain jobs all gear is already made for all races (besides some headgear for Viera and Hroth)
Still waiting for SE to remove class specific restrictions on the lvl 50 and 60 crafting gear. At this point I wouldn't care if SE did what the China team did and throw an all class glamour version up on the Mog Station. I would love to be able to use the lvl 60 GSM as my day to day glam set.
Also:
REALLY DUMB argument. Yeah more options = everyone looking the same![]()

It'd be nice as a reward for leveling more classes and jobs.
If you have a level 60 Dragoon for example, you would be allowed to glamour level 60 and below maiming gear on to anything.
Essentially, if you can wear it under some circumstances then you can glamour it under any.
Bring back that old encouragement to play around with more than just one or two jobs, but without the mandatory feeling of cross-class skills.
Only restriction I would make is AF gear.

Odd statement for a cat.

they are not going to take off the glamour check for 2 major reasons that are very valid
- Job Exclusive Gear
- Grand Company Exclusive Gear
they can't flip that switch off and still enforce this. so anything they do will be flipping off the switch and doing a lot more work to put those two things back in.
With the exception of artifact gear, I'm all for this idea. There's a ton of DRG gear that I'd love to be able to use on tanks, it irks me how some of the DRG versions of armor just look better.
Before you say play DRG, I can't stand the lack of control that dps have, that's at least how it feels to me.
If the people who are clamoring for it are supplying money for your paycheck is it really a waste? Without players SE is nothing they depend on us to buy their games and sub. If enough people don't do that then its kiss the frog and move on. So if its something enough of the player base wants then they will probably get it. If i recall correctly housing and glamours were not part of the original design either and yet here they are.
How is that not every topic? It's easy to say what the devs want is to leave things alone unless they already have plans to change it.
Yes, but there's no data to show a lot of people care for complete and total removal of glamour restrictions. If the people who are clamoring for it are supplying money for your paycheck is it really a waste? They can easily make a glamour item that changes certain items into an “image” item. Or a level one item, that way they don’t have to turn the off switch for everything. It’ll just change certain items entirely.they are not going to take off the glamour check for 2 major reasons that are very valid

Archeage actually does this and it works just fine.
