You get like 80-90 fps on the 600$ machine, you get twice as much as you do on PS4 slim if not more.
Better graphics, better range of rendering, multitasking, being able to plug in 2 screens, play the game and do something on the other screen, xbox controller (if you want) etc.

Yeah but I can do the same thing using my girlfriend's already-owned television and PS4 set up next to mine, or I can run something on my phone while I use my PS4, or turn on something on my laptop (which runs games like crap because it's old as dirt) and enjoy Netflix/check a guide/whatever. So I've still got the $300 console and can still do everything you just listed (task-wise, not graphics/performance wise of course) without spending any extra money, or buying a second computer monitor to do so.

Don't get me wrong -- I want a gaming PC. It's on my list of things to save up for. But as a single parent on limited income, it's kind of at the bottom of my list of things to save up for. And every time someone starts talking about how if I only spent 2-3x what I already had, I could do most of what I already can do, but with marginally nicer graphics ... I just have to laugh in poor person.

But you dont get 60-90 fps on top of it.
    This is worth the money.

So yea, you get a better rig, but not enough to justify it, imo.
You get higher fps, the game is smooth and runs well.
You could play on your PC i have mine pluged into PC next to my desk
You could do everything else. xD

People kill to have good FPS in their games, its worth all the pennies you have.

The game is smooth and runs well on PS4. That's what we are trying to tell you.

Do you get better frame rates? Sure. But ours are perfectly fine as well ...

I did competitive endgame on ESO with PS4 frames and that game is optimized so poorly it actually makes a difference there -- and we still did pretty well for ourselves. On FF, it's night and day difference. No lag, no stutters, no telegraph or placement issues, nada.

I get that you're saying it's better on PC, and I don't disagree with that assertion; I just disagree that it makes such a massive difference as you guys like to suggest. The game has a what, 2-sec GCD? It isn't twitch gaming. The only time I feel even a little inferior is with targeting and add-ons (the latter being the bigger point of this thread, I guess).

I kill for paying bills at the end of the month and not feeling stretched between paychecks, not for marginal frame rate increases in MMOs of all things.

Imagine thinking framerates in a video game are worth breaking your bank over. Big yikes. PS4 Pro gives me 60fps and didn't break my bank at all. Feelsgoodman.
