If they're conventionally attractive, I'm all for it. There's a pretty broad range within that spectrum. I just don't want them to be designed in a way that makes them very niche. The women are conventionally attractive so it stands to reason that the men should be as well. Though that doesn't mean they can't be at least somewhat well-built to reflect their harsh backgrounds.

I think people should clearly avoid any modding community if they aren't capable of not clicking on clearly labeled NSFW channels. That doesn't go merely for Hroth/Roe or else you'll see things like two large balloons and a spear on a female Viera that would make a DRG blush.

I am so happy to see so many people support the idea of completing the set for Hrothgar and Viera. I am all for both races having the other gender introduced.

I know that I would fantasia my Viera character into a male model in a heartbeat.

Playing through the expansion, I see so much potential for introducing male Viera and female Hrothgar. There is literally no reason not to. The same reasons female Viera have for leaving the forest can also apply to males.

In the First, there is even a hint that some male Viera have left the forest and reproduced. So given circumstances, male Viera can choose to pursue a different lifestyle outside of their original homes.

And considering the mentions of Hrothgar having wives and children, it should only be natural to at least see female Hrothgar. There is also no mention of any societal pressures on them to justify their seeming absence. Female hrothgar are being treated a similar way to how female Roegadyn and Highlanders were back in 1.0, told to mind the kitchen.

As when it comes to design, I think that staying within the overall design concept presented by the existing models, while adjusting for lifestyle is reasonable. Hrothgar are tall, large, and bulky like Roegadyns, so their women should similarly have a build to Roegadyn women's: tall, muscled, but still undeniably female. They have that boyish yet girlish charm.

For Viera male, I think they will be similar to their women. Very contrasting proportions, tall, lean, well defined muscle. Given how they are trained, I wouldn't be surprised to see male Viera's to be have very sinewy and athletic bodies. Large muscles would be cumbersome to the lifestyle they are initially forced into as stewards of the forest who must remain ever vigilant and never to be seen by their targets or outsiders. That requires a high amount of maneuverability and strength, and so I imagine their race evolved to reflect such. The closest race in comparison are elezen males.

The picture in Zeylo's signature is very much what I imagined male Viera to look like. In regards to their sexiness, I think the reasoning was that they simply have a different perspective on what constitutes sexy (that conveniently happens to be very sexy for us). As such, male Viera racial clothing could indeed follow the same design concept and be revealing. Arguably, they could also be wearing skin-tight pieces that completely cover them from head to toe as they are tasked with remaining as hidden for as long as possible.

Either way, I think I would be extremely happy as long as they do add male Viera and female Hrothgar.

I don't consider 'sex appeal' to be inherently bad. It's very possible to strike a balance with it.

Many cultures throughout history - including those who reached lofty heights in terms of how impressive they were - did not shy away from celebrating conventional beauty standards through various platforms such as artwork, sculptures and literature.
