I tend to only watch streamers that 1) I entertain me and I enjoy watching, and 2) Have a good attitude while playing and interacting with both their chat and other players. There have been a few that I enjoy watching and thus I follow them with maybe one or two deserving of a sub to their stream since I like their content. On the opposite side, there have been a few that are total cringe and I refuse to watch their stream as they'll do stuff for views such as nearly wiping a run for the sake of doing something silly and/or stupid.
As far as offering them advice goes, I don't offer advice unless I see others doing it and see that the streamer is okay with it. And the one and only time that I've ever offered playing advice to a streamer, they stated that they wanted to focus on learning their rotation instead of the fight itself. I kind of took that as my advice not being welcomed or warranted and left it alone. I still visit said streamers stream, however, outside of "Hello", "Goodbye", and normal conversation, I avoid offering them advice. If they win then I congratulate them and if they crash and burn, then oh well.

OP, my advice...if they make it clear that there's no backseat gaming allowed, then either just sit back and watch the stream or leave. There's a ton of other streamers out there that would probably be more than happy to receive the help. Just be sure to read the situation first before commenting.

Edit: Also be sure to take into account that some streamers will purposely fail mechanics and wipe for the sake of shock value and reaction and is one reason why the no backseat gaming rule exist. Some feel that If they played the game right or normal like everyone else does, then they wouldn't get the amount of views that they get. And so, bad playing, quirky antics, trolling randoms, nearly wiping an entire run...you name it, it's all for shock value and entertainment.

This is something I won't do with PUGs. If I had a static that were OK with it then sure, I could add it in. But it would be down to the static. I did originally make a StreamLoots card to force an attempted wipe, but deleted it before allowing people to access said card. Even the make me die in game card has exceptions to avoid upsetting other players (because well, it wouldn't be fair on PUGs, or a static that hadn't agreed to it). It'll apply mostly to single player games, or games where I'm co-streaming with my friend, who knows about the cards.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

I would just worry about my own play and leave them to do whatever stuff they are doing, because i've seen multiple streamers that play the game, make guides on jobs or content, then when you see them do it themselves, they don't even know how to play the job, what key the skills are on, or what they even do, basically showing that most of them are going off what others say to do with the jobs or stealing content.

But how this reads to me is that you were watching a female gamer play a game and you offered unsolicited advice in her chat, which it seems she has rules asking not to do. When she replied that she was wanting to experience the game first-hand (which many people do), you got so offended at being rebuffed that you had to come here and proceed to trash talk her skill and play style all because she refused your help that she never asked for.

For lack of a better term, it's giving me some neckbeard/nice-guy vibes.
I guess he was hoping to score some "gamer girl bathwater" for free? or wanted her to call him Daddy for being such a helpful nice guy? lol

Well, like 3 years ago one of my favourite streamers started playing FFXIV which i was pretty happy about because I could play with her that way, she really was sensitive to toxic people in dungeons which is totally fine and understandable. Later when she hit endgame I was watching her doing the first Omega tier raids on normal and she died often enough even after content got old, which is also totally okay to me, but later that day she was queueing up for low-level roulette and proceeded to call the tank, which was new, trash for really trivial mistakes. This was when I unfollowed her and never watched her again because this kind of hypocrisy really pisses me off.

This makes no sense, he is keeping the streamers name private, in which case simply coming here to trash her is pointless, since we don't know who is being trashed...
Also, he didn't spoil any mechanics, there is nothing wrong with telling people to be a bit more cautious about this fight.
OP probably just wanted to tell a story, that is all.

Backseating is widely considered to be in poor taste.

As I said, I could be wrong, but that is the vibe I got. The story also seems grossly over-exaggerated. To break it down a bit:

-OP states they knows the streamer is new
-Confirms that she has a "no help unless I ask for it", proceeds to give warning anyway
-Girl responds stating she doesn't want the help, but not in an overly negative way
-Claims they spent 1 hr 40 minutes in The Vault. This dungeon is only 90 minutes.
-Claims they sat through 10+ wipes. The chances of finding a DF group to sit through this many wipes on a leveling dungeon is incredibly slim, but probable.

So, the reaction to all of this?
-Complains that she only ever pays half-attention to the game as she is too busy with her stream chat (sounds a bit butt-hurt)
-Gets pissed off by her playing poorly and blames it on her being bull-head which leads us to...
-claiming everything would have been just fine had she only listened to advice (theirs?)

I mean, I get it, we all like watching a flaming dumpster fire now and then, but this type of a reaction and subsequent post puts up a lot of flags for me.

While i get not wanting backseating gaming and spoilers, not wanting help when it's obviously needed seems quite stupid. Even more when you're with random peeps.

I'm a sprout myself so i know what it's like to discover stuff for the first time. But when i go fully blind i do it with a full party of friends and we love to search how to beat dungeons. It's just sometimes it's a bit hard on our own, when i'm alone or with just one friend, advice on how to NOT wipe is always welcome ! It doesn't take anything from the game to know how to beat some dungeons.

Also, saying he's a "nice guy" is really fricking easy isn't it ? I hate when people do that, stop assuming stuff. He never said anything about wanting something in return. He was probably just frustrated to watch, which is comprehensible.

It is easy, and I generally try to avoid using terms like that. I wish I had a better way to explain the feeling I was getting from the post, but unfortunately that was the closest thing that came to mind.

Complaining about a bad run is nothing new (check out the Tales from Duty Finder thread for some fun stories). But there is something about OP's story that seems a tad bitter. Perhaps I'm reading things incredibly wrong, but there seem to be certain nuances in the writing that imply otherwise.

And sure, they didn't claim to want anything, but they were publicly chided (in a tame way) when they offered a warning, and that could set people off as well. /shrug.
