Why would you want a 4th healer when they have issues with 3?
So we have 2 working healers and 2 broken ones?

I'm not sure where you've been but this section has been a nightmare since 3.0 and everyone is as vocal as they've ever been. Hell if you wanna be real for a second there was doom since even 2.0 where people were saying "White Mage is useless the balance is terrible." etc.I'd say it's a contributing factor, but compare and contrast the healer forums against the DPS and tank forums, the healer forum is much busier with complaints. There was also a job satisfaction survey that went around and the results weren't favourable to the healers. Whilst not every person who heals is unhappy as I've come across saying "I like the changes" or "I'm enjoying it" but thus far I've found them to be a minority? I have absolutely no issue if those people are enjoying. I don't expect them to have the same opinions/feelings as me.
But there is an overwhelming amount of healer salt with people who don't usually post on the forums appearing to voice their complaints and concerns about healers. Some saying they've changed their mains, myself included. And there's incentive to not queue most roulettes as a healer from the standpoint it's boring for many. I was doing roulettes yesterday, I was SCH originally for the queue boost and a friend said they wanted to join as a tank, I immediately swapped to SMN.
I think there is a mix of reasons why healer is getting so much in need, but I don't think we can just pin it down to the one and say "there, that's it", because there are a few reasons why people aren't queueing as healer or maybe queuing as something else.
Some loud folks on a forum aren't going to affect queues times. What's affecting queue times is them not adding a healer since 2015.

There is a sentiment that people are claiming a massive drop in Healers is due to changes of 5.0.
I'm debunking it with a very obvious statement cause it seems what's obvious isn't so obvious for some.
Yeah sure, people not agreeing with you are certainly all wrong and unable to read.. /sI'm not sure where you've been but this section has been a nightmare since 3.0 and everyone is as vocal as they've ever been. The Theory works like this:
With 4 Healers you can design healers around pairs and break up their healing types. You can have Sustained, Burst, Mitigation, and Utility designs which each would want a different kind of co-healer.
A sustained healer would pair up well with a mitigation healer, a utility healer pairs up well with a burst healer.
A sustained healer paired up with a burst healer would mean less opportunities for the burst healer allowing them to DPS more and if shit hits the fan they got all of their options ready.
A mitigation healer paired with a utility healer could result in compounded mitigation, making what healing that is going out more effective even if the raw numbers are not as high.
So on and so forth. It changes the dynamics around. Of course there would still be a top 1% meta, nothing you can really do about that. Though things can be more easily shaken up by improving the pair that is on the lower end.
The problem is you need to have a way for the jobs not to walk on each other toes: What if you get 2 Burst? Will their mana melt because they can sustain as well? How much can you unbalance pure homogeneity before it gets unplayable? Trust me, if the solution was that easy, the developers would have take itThe Theory works like this:

I think thats thier goal.. I really do sometimes. atm we need a fourth healer like we need another hole in the head even with the changes people are still complaining because AST isnt immediately bumped up to META rank on first savage instead of accepting that change will come gradually until all three are in a position that they are ready for a fourth healer to move in. they need to make things a bit more interesting and synergystic with one another then move onto a fourth that doesnt disrupt that synergy as for OP it's easier to just ignore them.
"Sometimes I wonder I heal for fun. or if I heal because I'm a glutton for punishment."
So what they just never add a healer and keep on pretending to balance healer? That was the excuse they used to not add a healer this time , and look at how balanced healers are at launch?
That's exactly the point. They need to learn to juggle 3 healers before they even consider a 4th. When dancer was announced as a dps I was bummed at first, but after seeing the healer changes, I'm glad they made it dps. SE has made if abundantly clear they dont have the first clue on how to handle their healers.
Make SCH great again! Seriously though, we just want our class to be fun and engaging again, not OP, is that too much to ask for?
