Going to have to vote no to segregation. The debate on its merits and whether or not it works for the better of all have long been debunked decades. It was found ethically and morally wrong.

Sorry but people on other servers are no different then your server. You're going to be hardpressed to prove that picking a random name on a list of servers makes one vastly different especially considering many didn't even make a choice and simply picked the server the system allowed them to make a character on.

This is tribal mentality made manifest. To think another group of people is different and that combining groups will be a detriment is ridiculous. And the only difference is a server name.

This is less a matter of segregation as just not intermingling meta-plotlines, i.e. player community progress and experiences.

The merit in keeping as clear a divide as we had before, when we already had transfers and cross-server house-hoarders aplenty, seems rather small compared to the benefits (to the point where I'd even prefer to have cross-world MB and cut out our server-jumping merchant class, so to speak), but let's not argue ethics in something that's purely 'quality of video game experience'.
