I'm almost 100% certain the answer, if it's even addressed will be the same one that has been given to those waiting. I really think 5.1 is far more realistic of an expectation for it to be addressed again, even if it is and if it is, I would also expect another repeat or very short response.

If I am being honest, I am nearly expecting Yoshida to provide a much harsher answer due to how often it is brought up, as he is won't to do on subjects like this. Such as Egi glamour, Hints about new jobs, Blue Mage, Tank DPS, and Job balance before the mid expasion patches.

That's my assumption as well. I believe, at the time of the previous statement, the development team announced that they were working on 5.1 already. By this point, they're likely working on both the next expansion and future patch content for the current expansion. Given how tight their schedule is and how far they plan ahead I doubt anything has changed in regards to the missing genders. It might in the future when the development team have a bit more breathing room but equally the game has proven that when it comes to fan demand there are hard lines drawn in regards to certain elements.

BLU being a key example as well as the way in which player housing and A/S Rank hunts work.

So, ultimately, I don't expect a different answer. It'll be a pleasant surprise if so.

I already do this. My character is a "living protest". Sometimes I meet people who don't want to make RP with me because of it, but it's their opinion, I won't force them to do anything. If their are respectful, so I will be respectful too.
It's been a hilarious experience. My character is unique, and some people come to me and make screenshots (I know this because of the icon when someone is using /gpose), or I read in the chat "Look! A male viera!". The other side of the coin is that some people just ignore me. I don't blame them, my character is bizzarrous hahaha

Same here. In my experience, people really enjoy my bunny boy. I haven't gotten any hate mail yet, or people refusing RP. I guess most people on Mateus/Balmung don't really care as long as you're not being a total freak.

Yeah, I honestly think the earliest they'll be able to add male viera would be 6.0.

There is no way in heck they would be added by 6.0 MAYBE 7.0.

I don't see 7.0+ as viable for their addition looking at all the limitations on just female Viera and male Hrothgar now add 2 more expansions worth of gear and oh boy we are looking at much worse Limitations, 1 more expansion worth of stuff is going to add more limitations like maybe no feet are allowed to be shown, 2 faces for male Viera/female Hrothgar etc.

I truly believe its 6.0 or bust for their inclusion in ffxiv because by 7.0+ they may look at their 3rd MMO thus resources would start to be diverted.

I'm not going to bother with 'hope'. If they add them? Great. If they don't add them? It's a shame, but understandable.
