Someone who monopolizes all 8 servers on Primal with all end game level 80 gear....and who earns around 600 - 800M Gil a month....who makes their own rotations...is “casual” to you? lol If you say so!

Secondly. Actually, we have always asked for rewards, or something that would feel rewarding to us. ARR was extremely hard, I’ll admit. Crafting turn ins to obtain things like Lucis Tools were crazy. But what did you expect? You wanted Square Enix to just hold your hand in the game, and give you Lucis tools for free?! You sound absolutely ridiculous right now with that insane logic. You work for it. You earn it. You play with it. Easy.

Players like being rewarded, period. Being casual or hardcore has nothing to do with it, really. But in FFXIV’s case, they are ignoring their hardcore fans, and catering only to casual fans. I normally wouldn’t have a problem with this except one thing:

FFXIV’s casual players are vindictive, selfish, and very illogical with their reasoning. Therefore, they want to silence and ignore hardcore players entirely. Which results in casuals only getting what they want instead of catering to both players.

You are just selfish, plain and simple. And it’s very disheartening that something I love cannot be put into equilibrium because most of the casual player base acts like you, and refuses to make peace with hardcore players, even when presented the opportunity to do so.
