Something like story boss fights, but harder?
Extreme even?
Sarcasm aside, If you play an mmo only for the endgame raiding, then you are going to run out of content rather quick no matter what game you play.

Story Fights / Extremes were released before Eden, which is why I said something BETWEEN eden normal and eden savage.
Thank you for providing the childish sarcasm we've come to expect from the casual player base who disagree without contributing anything constructive.

And then, you'll ask for something between that too, its a never endind cycle, normal raid already are a between playground because Bahamut was too much to handle for the majority.
So what do they do ? trial almost-ultimate or raid not-savage-yet ?

That's incredibly presumptuous and very wrong.
I would actually be grateful and would be outspoken happily if we received anything that showed an increase to the casual/end game ratio of content.

Well, Ain't you a joy to speak with...
So according to your logic if EX primals had been released this week between Eden and Eden Savage everything would have been fine?
Death Is Only The Beginning....
Lol good jab...i wont dispute how bad travel was at times but at least the world felt real and there was real danger in it when you had to travel....you probably like the fact that nothing can realistically defeat you in open world zones?
Death Is Only The Beginning....
you know what else kept people busy. going to Faust and finding out that it's not there because someone else killed it. going to Dragon's Aery and spending 2 hours there just to watch someone else fight Nidhogg.
that stuff would be great in XIV too right?
and if you like that kind of danger, you really liked Eureka then? i'd prefer a mix of the two. if a portion of Tempest, Lochs, Azys Lla had some level cap +5/10 mobs that would be interesting but i don't need/want the entire open world to be that way.
Im old school...i get that things weren't perfect but what we have now is mind numblingly themepark....even if mobs were able to be dangerous the game is designed to thwart danger regardless due to mobs only chasing you a few feet or just fly over them. I loved the idea of eureka but we all can agree the execution fell flat. Trust me when i say i have accepted what this game is and what it is not and i have this thread to thank for that. In the most sincere and non-condescending nature i am truly grateful for the insight now #moneymakestheworldgoroundyou know what else kept people busy. going to Faust and finding out that it's not there because someone else killed it. going to Dragon's Aery and spending 2 hours there just to watch someone else fight Nidhogg.
