it's 2019, i don't see why not. i can understand because the ps4 and likely ps5 wouldn't be able to hand it either. i shudder to think of actually playing xiv on console

I think you are highly underestimating both the ps4 and the new ps5. Secondly I play on ps4 pro and have zero problems on my 55inch C8 OLED TV.

Yes, yes we do. For example, male Lalas die with their bottoms up, while hyur males are the generic fall straight on the floor.

No, you do not miss 1.0. You might miss FFXI's gameplay style, I do too, but FFXIV 1.0 was not that.

You never know because the same director was working on it and lets say that it worked out you'd never know what it would have turned into today if it had succeeded.

I miss 1.0 because of the music battle music sounded like battle music, large area's, boat rides, all the cool stuff and a different feel to the world with battleships in the sky.

it is what it is and never came to and we got FFXIV reborn into something else I cannot argue but I do miss some stuff from 1.0.

I would really like to see this form of combat return. It reminded me of Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door.

If by strategic you mean toturing a crab for an hour with broken weapons to maximize XP gain then yes, it was the epitomy of strategy.

An opt-in texture pack would be something most people could agree with and indeed most people I've met want one desperately for the ARR zones especially. LoTRO already does that and because it's opt-in, no one has an issue with it.

It's been asked about repeatedly, and the general answer from Yoshida or whoever has always been that it's more effort than it's worth.
