I guess I didn’t realize you could unlock leveling trusts before level 80...
But even if that were the case, my comment stands. Folks complain about nothing to do, they are given something to do and they complain about slow gates tasks...
What's your point?
You think I'm going to spend fifty hours leveling all the trusts... just because?
I'm currently doing the HW beast tribe stuff on a character in that level range because it's something I can do while waiting for queues to pop, get exp while doing it and as a side benefit this also unlocks more purchasable vendor items.
It says a lot when content from two expansions past is more rewarding than trusts.
I'm gonna type as slowly as possible. What's your point?

Not. Everything. Is. Built. For. You.
That being said trusts are not a core mechanic it's a additional mechanism.
I've complained about trust leveling being slow.
I have not once complained about a lack of things to do in SHB.
The playerbase is not a monolith. The people complaining about A are not necessarily the same people complaining about B.
I think the devs welcome the constructive criticism.
Content is of course most welcome, but balance is equally important. Poor game balance can lead to enjoyment going down the drain.
Current trust XP really doesn't encourage players to use the system. Most people I've spoken to seem to agree that the XP is too low at current rates.
I like the trust system, during the leveling process alongside the storyline it was just about right. But once you're past that there's not much reason to use it anymore, especially since the rates are quite low. So perhaps the XP rates for trust-buddies could use a little tweaking.
