I don't need to test something that I know is impossible. You're the one making the ridiculous claim, so the burden of proof lies with you. You either tested it and found out that you're wrong, or you didn't test it and you still have no idea why it's impossible. A while a side note, the justification that not having aerherflow accessible outside of combat will prevent groups from having to wait for aetherflow to come off cooldown doesn't hold water. If I was going to make my group wait, I'd still make them wait under the new system, so I could press aetherflow as soon as the combat started. There is actually no justification I can think of for this change.

You waited for SMN, not for SCH. And no you wouldn't make them wait under the new system, because you would be in combat. You would get kicked and black listed for doing something so dumb.

It doesn't matter what you feel like, it doesn't change the fact you don't play this game. Tell you what I'm okay with removing the cool down on indominability just for the meme, I'll use aetherflow wait til it gets off cool down, use recitation, use indominability 4 times, pop aetherflow again use it another 3 times, pop dissipation and use it another 3 times. Honestly sounds like it would make for some nice fireworks. And it would be fun to be the only healer who can put out 4,200 aoe healing in 5 seconds or less.

I told you this is impossible, but since you don't think so, I'm telling you that you can do something easier (9 lustrates in 5 seconds) to prove me wrong. It really isn't that hard to understand, but you can play dumb all you want and pretend you don't get it.

or, instead of being dickish about it, you could just point out to Nethereal that if they removed the 30s cooldown on Indom, they'd most likely still put a 1s cooldown on it like Lustrate and other similar abilities have. This would be more effective at conveying the point you're trying to make and not make you sound like a jerk.

Sure I could have and probably should have, but if you look at his other posts throughout this topic it can bee seen that this guy doesn't listen to reason anyways. I find it highly unlikely that even had I said that he would get it. He's much more in it to throw around insults than to actually discuss things, from what I've seen.

I'm pretty sure he's a troll at this point. Several of us pointed out why what he was saying was wrong, and he comes back with "you can't read" as his argument. Report, block, and move on, IMO.

If I felt like I was going to struggle with a fight and needed all my stacks, I would absolutely ask my party to wait. Better to wait a minute than to wipe. And before you tell me that if I need all my stacks I should just be better at my job, needing those stack might not be on me. Maybe the tank is made of paper. Maybe the dps are new to the fight and don't have the mechanics down. Maybe I'm lagging out a little. I wouldn't do this unless it was necessary, and if my party started the fight anyway I'd go in and try my best, but your tone here was so needlessly hostile.

It was the only time I could think of having to wait on stacks, and I was trying (and am still trying) to make sense of this change.

Alas, I think we’re all rather worked up and it’s stopping us from seeing where we have common ground, which is a real pity. I’m certainly guilty of getting worked up. It’d be much better if we could compile our thoughts and suggest solutions loudly in SE’s direction. I don’t think we’ll get that, though. People care. Which is rather flattering for SE when you think about it.
