Lack of End Game Content

Content, esp. end-game content doesn't fall from the sky, you need people and resources to create that. This games developer, as for any game, only have a finite amount of resources to do stuff with. So, for more new end-game content to be created, other content would have to be cut.

So OP, which content would you see to be cut for your new end-game content, and why would your content to be more important then that which would be cut ?

The game and playerbase is growing. Doesn't it make sense to invest some more of the that money into raising the bar?

We have more subscribers than we had for Stormblood's release and we are giving the same (if not less) content.

If they added more end game content, maybe the sub numbers would retain more.

Except that the director himself has stated on numerous occasions that it's okay to take breaks from his game to go and play others, in fact he actively encourages it.
