Yeah but have you collected all the mounts, cheevos and relic weapons yet?
Have you won 10 games of Mahjong and maxed your racing Chocobo at Gold Saucer?
Have you leveled every single job to 80?
    How's your Feast PvP ranking?

Didn't think so... Stop complaining there is no content.

I used to play WOW from 2004-2011, and I found their content very lacking compared to what I am getting from FFXIV.

But you should also stop comparing and try turning XIV into WOW, as I dont want to play WOW again personally. If you find the content in WOW fun, then go play WOW until bored and then come back to XIV inbetween patches.

I just really hate how Activision Blizzard is behaving and will never give them my money again personally.
And Scottzone is another LazyPeon who bought LVL/Story skip so all his credibility towards XIV is null and void
Scottzone literally defends the story experience having played through it and criticises Lazypeon for jump skipping.

I don't think you have your facts together.

You seem to be confusing old content and progression content with end game.

Please read the title and the question more carefully.

But, again, Savage comes out in 12 days.

The content is being intentionally staggered so that people have time to do everything while balancing work, family, hobbies, other non-endgame content and even other games.

Other players shouldn't feel the content pinch if they have any experience with FFXIV because this is how the game is, has been and will be.

Since when was "end game" described as specifically level capped content? It isn't. Strictly speaking anything you do after completion of the MSQ would be considered end game, even if it involves levelling other jobs, so stop talking down to people.

Go plant your face in solo PotD if you're so bored, that'll keep you busy for a long time instead of complaining about lack of stuff to do until the only raid content we're getting for the next 6 months releases in 2 weeks.

Absolutely and I understand staggering the content. But as I mentioned, even with the addition of 4 boss fights doesn't come close to what other MMORPG's have as standard end game.

Content, esp. end-game content doesn't fall from the sky, you need people and resources to create that. This games developer, as for any game, only have a finite amount of resources to do stuff with. So, for more new end-game content to be created, other content would have to be cut.

So OP, which content would you see to be cut for your new end-game content, and why would your content to be more important then that which would be cut ?

I always have something to do at "Max level". There's always tomestones to grind, gear to get, logs to fulfill or sidestory to explore. BUT I am what you might call "semi-casual". I don't have more than a couple hours a night (little more on weekends) to spend on games and I don't play FFXIV every night. For those who have finished all the content available in SB: All jobs to 80 (they all have 80 stories) all geared at at least 440, and all the dungeons on farm and all glamours acquired I say this: "Holy jesus". It's been 3 weeks? The developers have constantly said this game wasn't meant to be a job or only for the hardcore. People need to be able to stay current with casual amounts of play. The problem for hardcore players there is if they constantly had new heights for you to reach, in sufficient amounts , y'all would be gods while the poor casuals languished in what they could scrape together every week. This happens in other games with lots of "endgame" content. Didn't do your 10 runs of whatever dungeons tonight? You are behind the gear curve.

To answer your question, most of us at "endgame" aren't playing things that require being level 80. We are exploring everything else in the world, because it's extremely expansive and does not just suddenly open at max level. It's a themepark MMO, check out the rides , the set dressing and the characters standing around. It's plenty to engage most people for months at a time.

When I hit "endgame" I sat back and discussed the story with friends, picked another job to level on roulettes and looked into crafting and gathering again. I don't think this game ever was only about endgame, but it's a game with content for everyone including endgame raiders, just not extensive content and I feel that's fine.

Levelling is considered end game? Oh boy. Common sense has left the chat.

Like I said, the game feels like it just wants you to level a max job as soon you hit 80, instead of giving you content to do once you hit max level.

There you go again, snide remarks because people disagree with you. I specifically meant levelling other jobs upon completion of the level cap MSQ, which essentially means you've "completed" the game and as such now have to find other things to do.

Have fun with your "lack of content".
