Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I would not play male viera if they looked like the above. However I would still support their addition for the sake of completing the genders. I am of the same opinion with the addition of female hrothgar.

Who knows, I doubt it, they'll likely want as many fantasia sales on 6.0 as possible to be able to have big budget enough to keep up with glam release, so theyll likely go for a super model attractive build that appeals to mostly everyone (and fem hrotgar will sadly, to me, likely end up being suguu desuuuukaaaaa waifussss uwuuuuuuuuu)

But then they say there is still potential for them to be included, just now isn't the right time.

The sad part is now they've given female Hrothgar a reason to be excluded. It's now a lot less likely for a Hrothgar female to go adventuring then a male Viera. They're so disgustingly rare and now they added on the whole 'birth rates'. It's fine when it's in the opposite, with the males being rare and the females in abundance. But when it's the females that are rare then it becomes a problem. So it's best to ignore the lore completely regarding both of them. As right now with the lore, the females would be constantly giving birth to keep their numbers afloat.

It's extremely disheartening that they went ahead and gave them such lore in the first place, they didn't need to nor was it necessary.

I bet that id they were to do only 1 of the 2, they'd go male viera since it'll sell more (we've seen this with male hrotgar/female viera) and SE wants money for the most part. They already stated like, 50 times they dont really care about the lore, in fact, they even said that they are leaving the lore like it is to allow them in the future, so that is just not only in the negatives, but completely impossible, so I doubt its even worth it to think about it (btw, by lore, the miqote race shouldnt be playable or at least limited to x amount of players, specially males, ur main job, white mage, shouldnt be aviable, and, yeah nah no frog suit)

Honestly...I think if/when we get Male Viera, they will be fine. Everyone here has their own personal theory of how they will look...but Im sure whatever they get will be good.
Even with the Minority that will of course complain and nitpick.
But If/when we get Female Hrothgar, there is bigger cause for concern...will they be beastly like the males.....or will they be Soft Pretty Humans....? They can easily mess this up by making them Pretty Humans.

Viera already are human faced. They just have Rabbit-Like noses.
Hrothgar with Human Faces would be an insult. But its very likely to happen

Yeah, I got kind of tired of Viera, had a good run, but I am back to miqo'te. Hated that I couldn't wear preview headgear, including hats, plus all my hair I paid for/worked for in-game was locked out. I didn't think it would bother me so much. This will be a big problem with males too, for me especially.

One reason I play males, specifically as humans is because they are more normal/neutral and helmets look great on men. Viera obviously having no access, plus on top of that no access to hats kind of sucks.

The shared picture actually doesn't look too bad, but the ears are way too small, and the clothes they are wearing well... The left one looks better, in my opinion.

Personally, I think female viera are super unpolished at this point, and dont feel like something ready for 5.0 (I'd honestly rather have waited until 6.0 for both races full, or just make 1 now 1 6.0 or only 1)

Also, I higly doubt males will have all hairstyles or helmets (if any tbh) since theyll likely just stretch their resources so thin

I personally like both outfits, The left one looks like a cool blacksmith and the right one looks like a cool white mage, but I do get why it isnt your fashion choice ofc (Actually, the guy with the crop top looks kinda like what I'd wear irl lol). This ears, imo, should be the smallest (maybe the minimum should be a bit bigger tbh) of the ear sizes
