Me saying he never lies isn't attacking him. So please stop making it seem like that, trying to get me in trouble or something.. Every human lies... But please stop... attacking me for having a difference opinion.
Then why did you bring up the healer balance topic? It wasn't part of the discussion nor did I mention it. It is as if you're trying to strawman my argument.
Omg... Cause it's true.... They said the reason they didn't want to release a new healer cause he wanted to to balance out the healers, and they not balanced... And that's not attacking SIR.... It's holding people accountable for what they said....
All FFlogs does is register your performance during specific content if someone is running it. When you opt out, that information is blurred out entirely and inaccessible. FFlogs does nothing more than give you numbers for how you're doing in content. It won't track your achievements, game time, or anything else. There are third party sites that track more, FFlogs is just a tool for raiders to both gauge compatibility for statics and track their own progress.
You realize if you really want to you can make it so no one can upload your character data don't you?

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
This thing is still going?
My hat's off to you, OP, that's quality baiting.
For the crowd that keeps insisting your damage numbers are personal data:
While I disagree it's actually good news for you if they are personal data because that means you can just approach the site with a GDPR (or your regional equivalent, if there is one) request for erasure of your data and you're either off the site or can cause a big enough headache for the site owners that they wish they had just deleted your data when you requested it.
If your publicly available combat data is, in fact, personal data.
If it's not then they aren't going to do anything and there's nothing you can do about it, but at least then you'll have official confirmation that your privacy has been safe all along.

I opted out of FFlogs.
My game performance is my business and mine alone. I opted out before doing a raid so nobody will ever know.
Do I use my cool downs? Yes.
Do I monitor when I have to pop something? Absolutely.
Am I perfect? Heck no. I'm still learning.
