I'm thinking this as well. Something akin to Star Wars with the Jedi in the old republic. Those guys were full on indoctrinated.

The word has a rather negative connotation, though; I suppose inculcation is more apt in this case, since it may be a case of passing on the importance of certain values/beliefs/traditions rather than anything approximating brainwashing.

And when they are added in the future that lore does not matter at all. Then you will do the 24 man raid as a male viera while the NPC talks about never having seen a male Viera in his life. I mean they already did that with the Au Ra. You could run around in a city who still killed Au Ra on sight quite a few years ago and nobody would bat an eye. People can then be surprised about the Yugiri reveal while your Au Ra character stands next to her, who never got a reaction at all.

Basically all of this, yeah.

Though I'm still not quite as confident as some other people in the thread that the missing genders will ever actually be implemented. If they are, of course, I'm looking forward to all of the above.

I do remember reading that the males are aggressive toward one another, which I think is an interesting contradiction to what the one NPC said in game about them taking on apprentices. Then again, once those apprentices run off to do their own thing, they're probably considered competition.

Without knowing what the wording is exactly, I'm just going to speculate that it may mean you have the mentors and their apprentices forming a bond, and then competing with the others outside that sphere.

I think this is pretty accurate take. We already see female vieras being fierce while looking like supermodels. This isn't too far from them which is a good because it won't make another Au Ra male vs Au Ra female problem.

Honestly I HATE dysphormism cuz dysphormism, but this concept art simply fits male viera and female viera. As for height, going by this, if this is actual measuer (could totally not be, but lets just imagine) they'd be slightly shorter than the females, probs their max is like 1,89 cm instead of the 1,91 cm from the females, assuming bot hare at their mac height. Anyways, we can clearly see they wanted them to have similar height
