Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Just wondering, several people have mentioned implementing a 'muscle slider', but what exactly would it do? Would moving the slider up/down make a character more/less muscular, or do you mean simply making the muscles that are already there more visible(that is, with more definition, shadows, etc.)?

Either would work for me. I think we should have both options if customisation is ever revamped, though if I had to pick one it'd just be definition. There's a pretty drastic difference between a 0% muscle tone on the Midlander male model compared to what it looks like at 100%. Ideally I'd like to use something like Hien's model as a base, though. I'm pretty sure he uses an edited Highlander model to have such beefy arms.

Not necessarily. IMO the males have more incentive to leave and become adventurers than the females do. Men are forcibly exiled from their villages when they come of age. They don't HAVE to become wood-warders; they could just leave. The women, on the other hand, have pretty cushy lives in their villages and don't have much incentive to get out.

The men are treated like BS, plsu they the only ones who actually see and know whats outside, if anything, going by lore, there should be extremely few male vieras out there but practically none (2-3 per every 20.000 individuals)

Edit: As for the Helions, you learn about them in the Gunbreaker storyline as to why they are not just in the north. Please don't try to bend lore to purely fit your perspective.

They're specifically rare in Eorzea, which is what I was getting at.

Anyway, the number of people roleplaying male Viera in game is pretty tiny. There should be nowhere near as many female Viera in the Quicksand as we see in game, yet there they are. Going by ratios, I would say that one male Viera wandering through Limsa once a week next to twenty-three separate female Viera congregating around Momodi in a day is pretty inoffensive.

There is one. They are part of the GNB story, and of course, no one freaks out when reacting to him. This hints they've seen their kind before, if a bit rare. Just like how no one freaks out when the WoL is one.
