Most final fantasy games I've played have had 1 or 2 healers. White magic, and potions (chemist).I love this game I do! I enjoyed playing for like 4 years. I feel like SE thinks we are stupid this is the exact same thing over and over and over. Next expansion will take my money elsewhere because there is no more growth. That's why I pay is to have growth but sorry I'm not gonna buy into this anymore. I started out as SMN but went healers and the fact they didn't add another healer and the generic feel to the current 3. This is not what I call a final fantasy game.
Also, how has it lost its identity if its the same thing over and over? That's like saying baseball lost its identity because its still baseball. WTF Baseball?!
I like your example but I mean I wish there were 10 man raids or something else different and it is the same pattern

Whats super different between 10 man raids and 8 man raids? Like, why do you want them other than "2 more people". What makes them unique or special? What would it add?
One thing that is wrong anytime you want to raid.... what are your logs. IT DOES NOT MATTER. I cleared the content I'm not the best but this game allows bullying yet still. So all yall get mad I'm just stating facts.

Haven't ever encountered this. All the groups I've run with would rather try you out first. Unless you are applying to world first or super hardcore groups I don't see why this is a thing. Also, no one is mad, and you haven't really stated any facts other than "game is still the same as it was when I started". Most games don't suddenly change formulas, and the ones I know of that did lost most of their players and never recovered (star wars galaxies anyone?)

OP doesn't know what 'lost its identity' means.
If anything this game is too established in its identity.

So the expansion that feels the most "Final Fantasy" in terms of the setting and story is not "Final Fantasy" to you?
Maybe you're wanting to play Pokemon?

I’ll assume this means you’re leaving. How unfortunate...
