I was responding to someone else who brought it up. Unless you didn't notice that? Also, this is a public forum where I can reply and post what I wish. No need to talk down to people.
Why are you triggered? I wasn't mocking you. Perhaps emoji would help but I'm not into those stuff.
This is a "Male Viera" thread though, if you need a reason for me responding to you so.
Hrothgar being unpopular does nothing. femRoe is the most unpopulated race and you don't see them disappearing into the abyss...

The only poster with consistently ruffled feathers appears to be you. I'd say to stop flooding the thread with double posts, too, to prevent clutter but I suppose the perk is that it eats through your daily post limit more quickly.
Please stop trying to stomp out discussion and debate.

The Luckybancho stats are more reliable, to my knowledge, but if you don't know Japanese you need to use google translate to get around, and I don't know whether he maintains race breakdowns.XIVcensus has data on how many players there are of each race, both active and total. I would, however, argue that the active one is slightly unreliable at the moment as everyone who have completed 4.1 still counts as active according to its criteria, which makes the new races seem less popular than I actually think they are.
When the game's story becomes self-aware:
If male Viera join the rest of us what do you think the lore reasoning will be for leaving the forest?
the viera homeland flooded with black rose driving everybody, including the men, out
There's no need for lore reasons to add them.
Just take it back before AuRa was released. Didn't Yugiri cover her face to not scare the people since they never seen an AuRa before.
And that everyone could be AuRa I didn't see any lore reason to explain how suddenly there are AuRas everywhere.
Atleast that is how I remember it.
It has always felt odd when a new race was added just like that, with no impact on the world or gameplay interactions.
It's just like they have always been there from the very begining.
Eh, if I'm honest, I'm not a huge fan of it as a plot device. It has too grave an impact, thus the role it serves in the MSQ. I think the threat of its encroachment forcing them out may be better than actual use.
