It's also worth noting that for the 'godlike' status of Amarotians, their knowledge was not limitless. The irony that Emet Selch failed to realize is that these lesser incomplete existences of the source and it's subsequent reflections managed to discover not only physical dimensional travel, but also time Travel - something the Amarotians were not capable of. Emet Selch failed to grasp that these 'lesser' existences in their unique nature had surpassed the originals in some capacity.

Actually, this does beg the question: where were the Ascians during the many year long development of this superb technology? I doubt it could be kept a secret.

Also, while a nitpick, we dont really know if the Ironworks reverse engineered time and dimensional travel or just mashed together parts of Omega and Alexander into the Crystal Tower making it all work somehow. All three being technologies out of this world.

Which then reminds me that Alexander is a weird one. He's a primal, basically made with the same Creation magic Amarotians used. Did they just not imagine time travel back then? Not see it as useful?
