It is correct. And it has nothing to do with internet. Bad internet doesn't turn a run signal into a walk anyway. So we can move on from that.I'm not defensesive at all. And if it sounds rude it's cause it's false. That's not correct information and I'm just correcting on that. Whatever the hell you're seeing isn't cause of a PS4. Sounds like you're having internet issues. Noone and I mean noone has to ramp up to run on PS4. You just go. If they ARE stepping like they are hot foots then that's clearly a net issue. And who is -our-? Cause last I check everyone replying to you is correcting you.. not agreeing with you.
Now that this has been corrected, we can move on.

Literally no one has agreed with you, even other PC users. You're probably confusing standard vs legacy movement. All the janky movements I've seen (weird walking, people backing up) has been from people using standard. Ps4 has extremely smooth simultaneous camera/running movement, if you use legacy. Perhaps try listening to people who actually use it.

I don't have to listen to anyone. I've seen it. You all can believe what you want, but I've been able to ID controller users. Maybe my eyes are just keener, but its worked in the tests I've done. Sorry everyone is mistaken. It just is what it is.Literally no one has agreed with you, even other PC users. You're probably confusing standard vs legacy movement. Except that you are objectively wrong. Maybe something is wrong with your eyes, not that they are "keener". Or, as everyone else has suggested, your PC or connection is poor.
To be sure, I tested this in three ways: One was with my account on my PC and my wife's on our PS4. Nothing out of the ordinary. The second was my account on PC and my friend's account on PS4 (in another city). Again, nothing like you're describing. Third, I tested this with my PC using a controller and an FC mate in SEA. Again, nothing like you're describing.
Sorry, but you are simply flat out wrong. If you continue to insist otherwise and make up more ridiculous statements, then you'll have proven you are doing nothing more than trying to stir the pot.

As I said before, it is impossible for a run to turn into a walk because of a bad internet connection. That's simply not how TCP/IP works. That's akin to saying a Blizzard II going off because of a bad connection when the BLM used Blizzard III. They're two entirely different commands sent according to the server. But you all can believe what you want. I'm right either way.Except that you are objectively wrong. Maybe something is wrong with your eyes, not that they are "keener". Yes, but what was being claimed, that "all PS4 users walk first then run" isn't true.As I said before, it is impossible for a run to turn into a walk because of a bad internet connection. The analogue stick has a sensitivity setting, where a half-push will walk, and a full push will run, but there's no latency between them on the PS4 end, it's literally as quick as you can push the analogue stick.
What you've seen is down to player control, not PS4 limitations, someone has literally been pushing the stick slowly.

Sure you can believe whatever you want but you are not in the right here. Pretty big difference between legacy and standard controls. If you seriously think like this then I honestly don't know what to say.
Your testing is incredibly flawed, and that's putting it mildly. I've seen things too. The things you notice when you have eyes (and intelligence of how the game even works).
What you've seen, is a couple of controller users who are running slowly due to slow analogue stick control, probably due to hesitation, or intention, or maybe a faulty device.
This is akin to saying all gay guys are camp and talk with a lisp, because "every gay guy I've seen is camp with a lisp" completely oblivious to the fact that there are far more gay people you've come across without a lisp that you've completely discounted because you assumed they were straight.
You don't have evidence, or anecdotal evidence, or observation, all you have is prejudice and have drawn false conclusions.
