    "Nascent Flash is just int/tbn WAR edition to push war into ot status"

    Nascent Flash is my favorite tank ability in the game. It makes large pulls easy mode. Pop it, then Chaotic Cyclone/Decimate (or even Overpower-Mythril Tempest) and you're basically a god for 6 seconds.

    And it's on a 25 second cooldown.

    Not sure if you're trolling here.

    Not everyone invests the time into creating macros. Or even knows how to. And NF is a pain to use without a macro.

    Except if you're using No Mercy properly, it is a burst window. And way more involved than it looks between Rough Divide, Blasting Zone, Sonic Break, Bow Shock and Burst Strike. The entirety of the window changes if you have Bloodfest up and that comes up every 3 minutes after. Just because you aren't hitting 1 button doesn't mean it's any different.

    Small to medium pulls are fine, more than that is where I am struggling in a way I never did before Shb.

    Not been my experience. Before, often with gauge at 100, Inner Release, spam Steel Cyclone, once IR wore off and gauge goes to 50 hit Infuriate and put out a couple more Steel Cyclones, each one giving me a good amount of HP back.

    From another reply in this thread looks like I'm going to have to macro Nascent Flash to make it a bit smoother but that 6s duration is poor compared to what we had before.

    The heals are actually about on oar woth the old defoance steel cyclone spam. The difference is its burst over 3 gcds instead of spread. The damage you can generate from chaotic cyclone and/or decimate beats the ever living snot out of steel cyclone. Hp restored is based on damage. Damage is WAAAY higher with buffed potencies, no penalties, and chaos moves. The difference is you cant maintain heals for 7-8 gcds. You get 3. But you just weave that between CDs and its fine. Vengence wears off. Let hp drop some. Heal to full. Next cd. Repeat and its up far more often than IR or the rare cyclone when you didnt get gaugr from overpower.

    Its just different now. Short mini heal bursts very often instead of prolonged IR cyclones for 10-15 sec. This new system is more engaging imo for dungeons and the damage is exponemtially higher

    I also felt at first that 5.0 WAR was a bit of a disappointment consideringhow much cool new stuff other tanks got (speaking as a WAR main, Living Shadow made me level DRK to 80 first as I played through Shadowbringers). That said, 4.0 WAR was at a perfect place. The removal of our debuffs aside (I still mourn the loss of the Storm's Path debuff), WAR was already perfect, and this expansion they just upgraded our toolkit to be more effective. Is it a bit disappointing that we get only one extra ability to the other tanks' two or three? Yeah. Does that mean WAR is disappointing? HELL NO. Inner Chaos and Chaotic Cyclone are super satisfying to use and give us extra crit-direct fell cleaves and decimations outside of Internal Release, and Nascent Flash is an absurdly good main tank AND off tank ability. Are you a main tank? Pop it on your healer and go to town. Are you the off tank? Well your main tank is gonna be thanking you for the buckets of HP you're gonna be giving them.

    Seriously, don't fix what ain't broken.

    Warrior was pretty much perfected after they fixed shake it off, so it’s fine. If you’re bored you can try the other tanks, they’re all fine.

    So, despite what I said earlier, I've stuck with Warrior in the interim and started to find a better pace with it.

    Sadly I have to accept that Inner Beast and Steel Cyclone are not going to go back to what they were but I do think I see how Nascent Flash could be improved.

    Personally I'd have it apply Nascent Glint to all nearby party members. If targetting mob it would impact all those near you, but let it allow you to target a party member and apply Nascent Glint to them and those near to them.

    I'd also change it from a 6s buff to something that applies three stacks (with a limit of three stacks so one couldn't hit the skill in downtime and keep increasing it) and one of that stack is used whenever a skill is used because I have found that you can waste the benefit of it if you need to move out of an AoE.
