Its just 4.x War but just a bit more flexible and fluid. Having Direct Crit "fell cleave/decimate" outside of inner release is nice, but War gained literally nothing new this expansion. It's the same job.

inner chaos and chaotic cyclone are just re-skins of inner beast and steel cyclone. SE couldn't even bother to make these two have their own unique animation? Chaotic Cyclone's icon is literally SC but recoloured in bright red overlay?? That lazy?

Single target rotation? It's the same as 4.x.
There is no variety with WAR. Fell cleave (only instead, you use a repurposed Inner beast if you infuriate). One combo. The same two storm options as the third hit.

Aoe rotation? Its better. Players can now gain beast gauge, keep eye up, and refresh it, which also makes going from overpower into IR much more fluid.

Mythril Tempest is an added second hit of a new two hit combo (that everyone else also got), but it is also a repurposed, recycled pvp skill. Same animation.

A new attack that isn't FC is refreshing.... if it didn't work exactly like infuriate > FC and look like inner beast with upheaval effects. If players could only use inner chaos during IR, then FC outside of it, even that would've been better... and now all tanks have "inner release" after war was bandaided by mimicking paladin's requiscatin 4.1. Job identity. Where is it?

Nascent Flash is just int/tbn WAR edition to push war into ot status.

Next to paladin, gunbreaker, and even dark knight, war is very underwhelming and stale. The only thing that's "refreshing" is you can aoe for days FOR FREE.

I've mained war for years. Previous expansion, I cleared all savage tiers and done ultimates. War was very flawed in 4.0 and even still in 4.x and I was looking forward to the new changes and growth in 5.0...but all I got was bigger fell cleave and buffed inner beast (without healing priorities).

SE took a tank that was already simple and made it even more brainless. Why is paladin and dark knight much more complex and engaging while still easy to use? 4.0 WAR had a good idea, despite the problematic rng and stance flaws.

Nice belated 4.x War buff, square... so when are you going to give us 5.0 WAR?
