Discrimination against PS4 users?

I saw this ad for party finder a few days ago that said. "Titania EX Learning party. No PS4 scrubs" I mean myself, being part of the PCMR, was able to join and I asked the dude why no PS4 players.

He said. "That there is a delay or something with the controller or PS4 servers because PS4 players always get hit by stuff"

I wanted to argue with him..but I think I've always had that experience as well.

Party Finder is always going to be filled with recruiters having preferences that may not make sense to you. If you see something like that, just don't join 'em/form your own.

This is also another reason why I wish the Raid Finder was more active. There's no expectations; it's a lot more relaxed.

Personally, I think they were full of it, but if that is their preference then simply avoid that group or others like it. A lot of people play on PS4 and no one would ever know the difference.

They have no way of knowing what you're playing on. Just ignore it.

It's funny that they say that because I play on PS4 and seem to play much better than a majority on PC. There's no delay and that person was making up a scapegoat. PS4 is on the same servers as everyone else. I would ignore that one and move on.

I have played a little with a PS4, not entirely by choice but not having access to a desktop to play on due to various reasons, I have not noticed any additional delays.


But I will say, the gamepad is not particularly ideal for playing the game in my opinion.

PS4 has virtually no difference when compared to PC. The only real difference is whether you play with the base PS4 controller or with KBM; both of which work fine, and neither of which can really be discerned from other players perspective.

Ignore it. As it pertains to this game, PS4 = PC. Anyone thinking otherwise is only deluding themselves. Let them live in their fantasy world.

Ohh, I'd have joined that party out of spite. I'm quite positive I'd be able to perform without them being any the wiser to me playing on PS4. Sure, playing on controller occasionally affects responsiveness, but it's very subtle and would maybe only matter if you wanted to be absolutely optimal. For a learning party? That's hardly going to matter at all.
