… I'm not sure what this "have been made/set to digital" exactly means but what? No? I use controller without any modifications and I start run right when I start moving and stop right when I stop moving. I only start moving with walking when I do this intentionally because I want to walk.Unless your sticks have been made/set to digital, we definitely can tell. M/KB players' characters start off sprinting and come to full stop when moving and stopping. Whereas controller players accelerate into a walk then run and likewise slow down when coming to a stop.
That's gold one, really.
On topic: if people get hitting by things, it's most likely their connection, not their PS.

No, you can't. You might find one or two, but I guarantee you do not, will not, and have not been able to tell the vast majority of the controls used by players.
No, they don't. Prove they do otherwise.
Your connection is bad. You think they're walking, but they're running.

Dragoon is love,
Dragoon is life,
Dragoon is tanking the floor

I already have. You can spout it didn't all you wish, but it doesn't change anything. Sorry, it is what it is. There's no evil conspiracy here, you all can rest assured that nothing malevolent is going on here. There isn't a nefarious plot against controllers. You are blowing this way out of proportion.
A friend's brother used to primarily use a controller on both PS4 and PC (not sure why he had two copies, but that's his business). He functioned fine in the groups we were in.
No proof. You're making it up, got it.I already have. You can spout it didn't all you wish, but it doesn't change anything. Sorry, it is what it is. Oh, an anecdote. I stand totally corrected, my most sincere apologies. I had forgotten that anecdotes make for the most accurate data.

Uploaded for you.
If you have a controller, you can join in too!

It's funny that they say that because I play on PS4 and seem to play much better than a majority on PC. There's no delay and that person was making up a scapegoat. PS4 is on the same servers as everyone else. I would ignore that one and move on.
I have played a little with a PS4, not entirely by choice but not having access to a desktop to play on due to various reasons, I have not noticed any additional delays.
But I will say, the gamepad is not particularly ideal for playing the game in my opinion.

But this have nothing to do with the PS4.
You can play with mouse&keyboard on PS4 and with controller on PC. Playing with controller on PS4 is not worse than playing with controller on PC.
I've done both controller (my setup) and keyboard/mouse (boyfriend's setup). Between the two, and I'm going to sound crazy saying this...keyboard/mouse feels inferior. My own opinion.
