Actually the 'spirit' of the Bosmer can be male or female but the 'strength' wil always be a female, they get married either way. There's a lore book about it while you're question in the area.Mhm, they're a touch smaller I think? Though I also recall that the 'strength' of the Bosmer is always a female. She is the strongest Bosmer to exist and takes on the role of bodyguard. She is pure martial prowess. While the 'spirit' of the Bosmer is always male, a healer and diplomat. These two always end up entwined in marriage and become 'one' - a perfect team. It's pretty cool. I sadly couldn't get into Bosmer so much in ESO due to their height.![]()

personally i'm invested in male viera (and i suppose male miqote too) since i found out i was the first boy born on my mother's side in 5 generationsI suspect some posters simply have an allergy to masculinity based on the wording of their posts.
Stop going on about 'empathy', for that matter. I really do not care about anybody's real world baggage in relation to male viera. It has zero relevance and it's just a cheap attempt to try and shame people into silence. As I stated earlier, I believe some posters are far too overly invested in their push for feminine and androgynous customisation options and that it would be healthy for them to consider taking a step back.

That's the most unlikely thing that will be implemented. Note that everyone roots for their ideal body type for Viera basically because Viera and Hrothgar are the last races as mentioned by YoshiP.
If it wasn't so, those who didn't get what they want with Viera still have hopes for future races. Sadly, "technical limitations".

We might skip them for an expansion but they are a major selling point and a huge part of the "RP" aspect of the game, which YoshiP wants to nurture.
Things can change. They might figure out a better system for armor fitting for example. Games like WoW use anchor points for that (albeit at the expense of clipping, anchors cause sooo much clipping).
I mean, yeah, the odds of Genomes specifically are slim to none, they're basically Miqo'te with human ears and Viera faces anyway, they're just an example of an androgynous race from the franchise.
...And, yes, I know YoshiP said no more races after this. I just don't completely believe him, especially if there's a continued demand for them. Game devs sometimes say things like this to temper expectations.

I guess so. I don't want a childish race like Zidane though. I just want a shorter option than Miqote, which actually looks matured.Eh, never say never with new races.

Maybe if Au Ra males were proportioned like the females, I wouldn't even bother with anything else. Less people would debate over this, I think.

I got my beast race, I couldn't ask for anything else, other then more story and more content.
But if there was any chance for 1 more, I'd think the Bangaa would be next. That or, Ivalice Moogles.
In which case you're better off just asking for expanded customisation options for the existing playable races. Though I quite like that FFXIV does not take the approach of 'anything goes' in regards to what is possible in the customisation screen. Miqo'te can already be made to be pretty short and mature looking, anyway. I'm not sure why you're so keen to push boundaries any further. Just how short do you want them to be, exactly?
Ugh. No, thank you. I love the design of Xaela and Raen men. I see a lot of them around these days. The original concept art even depicted the women as being closer to the men in terms of height so it would make more sense for the female model to be closer to the male model rather than the other way around.

Given the amount of trouble they are having with the unique head pieces for Viera and Hrothgar, as well as hair and everything else, no these will for sure be the last races with at best getting the male and female versions respectively. If the devs wanted to leave the option on the table they'd give maybes, not a straight out no to it.Eh, never say never with new races.
