Since you're bringing up ESO, I just remembered male bosmers (or wood elves) are shorter than female bosmers. Their lore sort of reminds me of viera lore in some ways.

Mhm, they're a touch smaller I think? Though I also recall that the 'strength' of the Bosmer is always a female. She is the strongest Bosmer to exist and takes on the role of bodyguard. She is pure martial prowess. While the 'spirit' of the Bosmer is always male, a healer and diplomat. These two always end up entwined in marriage and become 'one' - a perfect team. It's pretty cool. I sadly couldn't get into Bosmer so much in ESO due to their height.
